In this unit, the student reads and analyzes different elements of poetry and writes his/her own poems.
What will be worked on in this unit?
-There will be 3 lessons to guide you in creating poems.
-Lesson 1: We will explore the world of figurative language. This is the first step in understanding poetry.
-Lesson 2: We will structure the elements of poetry to understand how they work.
-Lesson 3: After understanding the figurative language and the structure of poetry, we can explore the different types of poetry that exist to work on them.
